Psychodynamic Therapy
Sometimes the same feelings or relationship patterns appear again and again, even when you want things to be different. Psychodynamic therapy offers a space to understand how experiences over time influence the present.
Let’s talk ↗Space for something different
Understand the pattern.
Find more choice.
What we might explore
- Recurring experiences in relationships
- Feelings that are difficult to name or make sense of
- Earlier expectations that still shape your choices
- Self-criticism, guilt, and conflicting needs
- Patterns you notice but find hard to change
What sessions can look like
We begin with what matters to you now. As we talk, we may notice connections between current experiences, earlier relationships, and familiar ways of protecting yourself.
We can also pay attention to what comes up in the therapy relationship. You are welcome to question an interpretation or tell me when something does not fit.
Connecting insight with everyday life
Understanding a pattern can create space to consider different responses. We can connect that understanding with choices about boundaries, relationships, and how you respond to your own feelings.
The pace and focus will reflect your goals. We will check in about whether our work feels useful.
